The Mission of the Institute of Engineering is to provide quality engineering education and research in the frontier engineering areas relevant primarily to nation.

IOE Goals and Objectives:
Based on the vision and mission, IOE have set forth following goals and objectives;

Perform as Think-Tank	• Promoting advocacy on engineering policies • Establishing leadership role in emerging engineering issues • Addressing national development issues
Establish Governance	• Setting up structural & regulatory reforms • Establishing effective management & leadership • Capacity building of faculties & staffs • Ensuring competent students and creating conducive study environment • Establishing academic Infrastructures
Ensure Financial sustainability	• Resource planning ( regulations for expense & incentives distributions, performance based incentives) • Fund management (identifying funds & its management)
