In order to achieve this objective, the division works closely with both national and international universities, government agencies, NGOs, INGOs and consultancies to provide research and customized training solutions to students, faculty members and research scholars in areas of engineering and IT. Through the international linkages of KEC with more than 40 European and Asian universities, the faculty of KEC have conducted several researches and have published them in peer reviewed national and international journals. Faculty of KEC has been regularly presenting papers in different national and international seminars and conferences. Kantipur Engineering College is one of the partner organizers of Software, Knowledge, Information Management and Applications (SKIMA) conference which is organized annually by a partner university. KEC has successfully organized SKIMA conference in 2008 and 2015 in Kathmandu, Nepal. Through International Linkage, the college has also sent many students for undergraduate studies and faculty for Masters and PhDs in reputed Asian and European universities through the prestigious Erasmus Mundus projects like eLink, cLink, FUSION, SmartLink, etc.

Future Plan

The college is fully aware and committed to the development of further engineering programs in the future. Programs for running B.E. in Electrical Engineering and Bachelor in Architecture are in the pipeline. Furthermore, we constantly update our infrastructure, equipment and teaching methods in our current in our current subject offerings so that our students always remain competitive in the international and national platforms.
