In each academic year Institute of Engineering (IOE) conducts entrance examination; only those candidate who pass the entrance examination are deemed eligible for the admission. These eligible candidates can get admitted to any of the constituent and affiliated colleges according to the admission process followed by corresponding college.
IOE has several research centers and they do carry out research and development activities. The ongoing researches which are being carried out in Institute of Engineering are as follows. ICTC is Established in 2011 with the help of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), this Centre was established in order to conduct various types of trainings, sponsored courses and conducting problem based research in the field of engineering and technology especially in the area of information and communication technology.
Examination Control Division (ECD) of IOE is mostly the busy organization that has to manage examinations for bachelor, masters and PhD degree programs throughout the year. ECD conducts by-annual semester exams for regular and back exam of bachelor of engineering students having 10 streams in its four constituent campuses and ten affiliated colleges.
